Jia is a graphic designer with over four years of professional experience, originally from Shanghai and currently based in Columbus, Ohio. She earned a BFA in Visual Communication Design from Shanghai Normal University in 2019, followed by an MA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2023.
Her design work spans a range of industries, including fashion, art, music, and retail. She has contributed to projects for IKEA, Shanghai Jahwa, and the International Child Art Foundation. Her practice includes spatial graphics, packaging, editorial design, animation, posters, event materials, and exhibition systems—blending functionality with expressive visual storytelling.
Jia crafts elegant, grounded designs while exploring experimental and culturally diverse approaches. She thrives on creative challenges and is passionate about using design as a way to connect people across cultures and perspectives.
